Parent Information Sessions ___________________________ All parents should have received a letter outlining a series of parent information sessions coming up in the next 2 weeks to outline a range of important initiatives which the club will be implementing next season and beyond. If you haven't received your letter, then don't panic, the list of sessions is listed below. IMPORTANT: these sessions are scheduled in year levels, however if you can't make it on your alloted night, please make sure you come to one of the other sessions. These sessions are for parents only, and the club expects that at least one parent from each family makes themselves available to come along. It's only 1 hour, but it will be an hour well spent. Under 10s Monday 19 July 7–8pm

NEED A MOUTHGAURD Dr Michael Ikonomos 342 Hancock Road, Fairview Park Phone 8251 1133 If you need a mouthguard for next season, then give Dr Ikonomos (one of our parents) a call and arrange an appointment. Outstanding Achievements Over the last few years the number of players from our club who have made representative football squads has grown enormously and we like to keep tabs on them. AFL Brisbane Lions Joel Patfull State SAPSASA 12 and Under Team 2009 Aaron Grindall 2008 Harry Viney 2007 Dylan Auciello, James Battersby, Lewis Klemm, Tom Denyer 2006 Mitchell Suttcliffe If you know someone, or you are in a development squad or are playing other representative football then the Club would like to recognise your efforts here. Please email klemms@adam.com.au with your details. Hot Weather Policy NEMJFA hot weather policy states that if the temperature in either The Advertiser or Sunday Mail on the day of either training or games is 34 degrees or above then there will be NO TRAINING or GAME. Due to the nature of our weather patterns at the current time, it is expected that this hot weather policy will have an effect on pre season and early season training and trial and official match schedules for our junior teams. All PNU coaches and team managers are advised to strictly adhere to the NEMJFA hot weather policy.

CONSIDER THIS... With this in mind, the club is again offering all families and associated businesses an opportunity to become a 'PLAYER SPONSOR'. For an investment of just $275, a family or business can sponsor an individual from any of our junior teams (Under 6 – Under 18). This cost means the sponsored player doesn't have to pay the usual registration fee. It also accounts for any umpiring fees which that player would be levied throughout the season. Additionally, the one payment also includes Club Membership for your family. The balance of the payment will assist the Junior Committee in one of the many projects they will be carrying out around the club this season. You will still need to complete the normal registration form for your child as well as provide some additional information about your business for promotional and contact purposes. The relevant forms can be emailed to you by contacting Graeme Klemm on 0421 327 096 or by email on klemms@adam.com.au
The tradition of singing our club song after having a win is an important way for each of out teams to flex their team spirit. In case you don't know it, here are the words. |
